In particular Wesley Huston proved a real Pink Place Hero by providing the much needed carpentry skills free of charge - for the whole project. In addition Dave Ferns (another Pink Place Hero) plastered wherever was needed again for free. Thank you too, to Kevin (decorator) and Paul (electrician) for their help.

Yay we did it! The annual BDBC and HCC "Have your Say " Grants took place on 26th March and The Pink Place gained enough public votes to be awarded £1200 for our audio/visual project. We need to be able to tell more people about our free services so we can reach those that can really benefit from it. We do talks to various groups in the area, many of whom do not have projectors and screens, so these items will be useful in allowing us to explain our charity more clearly. We also need some banners that we can use at our events to let more people know about us. The grant will be used for these items. If you know of a group that would like us to do a talk on The Pink Place, then please get in touch.
